Turkey Sighting

OK J-Land, I warned you.  Here are two "turkey" pictures taken this afternoon from our deck.  I put my new "toy" into sports mode and reeled off 12 pictures, and selected the best two :o)

Sorry dear, I know the speed mode makes you a little envious, but I will show you the ropes, and you can use during the day :o)

Jeez, it takes a few seconds for me to be able to take another picture. Argh! Awesome camera, and I think you'll have lots of fun experimenting!

Nice job.  We have a lot of wild turkey's here also.  I used to see them on my long country ride to work but since I retired three years ago I don't go in that direction very much.  Must make a not to take a $4.00+ a gal. ride that way soon...NOT.

Great pictures!  Don't hate me for saying this, but do you know that wild turkeys taste like 100 times better than "store-bought" turkeys?  The first time I had one I was really surprised at how tender and juicy it was, and it had a sweeter taste -- no chemicals I guess!
