Home Sweet Home :o)

We had a great travel day yesterday; the traffic into LAX was smooth (only took 1.5 hours), we had a nice breakfast - including a couple of Bloody Mary's to help us get caught up on sleep after spending time with family and watching the late night Olympic triumphs of the USA Men's Swim Team, and both flights were on time.  We arrived home shortly after 11:00 P.M..

Sheeba Kitty was very glad to have us home, and we was extremely vocal and "present" (rubbing legs, laying on table, mewing up a storm, etc....).

Today was a Ketchup Day (actually, catch-up, but could not resist :o); we slept in until about 11:00 A.M. (we were up past 3:00 A.M.), then I got caught up on work-work e-mail (took two hours, I deleted 342 e-mails, and saved many others, with some left to be dispositioned tomorrow when I head back to the grind).

So, our 11 day Vegecation (Family & Friends Tour) is over, and it is back to our "normal life" (yes we have one each, but mostly together :o). J-Land can expect some more entries from us, especially with some pictures.

Hope you are having a good week, mine starts tomorrow (but only a 3-day week, yahoo!).

Thanks for a great trip, and while our travels are lots of fun and something to look forward to, there's no place like home! Thanks, big travel buddy! <grin>

I have to say email is a beautiful thing, work related. I LOVE the fact that there are many things I can delete that would have been painstaking conversations with no actual point or solution, as well as things I can handle via email in 2 minutes that would need to be discussed to death otherwise. ~Mary

Hi Bucko,  I haven't commented in your journal before,
although I have been reading it. (Lurking!;o) but I have
a matter of importance to discuss with you.   Which is:
DID YOU LEAVE OUR FAIR BETH ANN OUT IN CALIFORNIA,
AND BRING BACK SOME GOTHIC GAL SINGING A
LUDO-CRIS SONG ?  If so, go back and get her!  Pat
P.S.  The black lipstick is a "dead" give-away.  It may be
an imposter.  And a thong isn't flattering at any age!

... it seemed like y'all had a nice time ... anyway ... I couldn't leave a comment on the energy post ... but it seems that the canidates ALWAYS give lip service to energy issues ... to me, they are akin to going on a diet ... no one really wants to make that first step and then keep the discipline up to make it mean something ...
