On July 3, I made an entry entitled Congressional Perspective II, where Congressman Upton from Michigan predicted that Biden would be Obama's running mate. So, kudos to you Fred on your perspective, and we look forward to see if you get a twofer when McCain makes his selection [Fred predicted Tom Ridge from PA] :o)

If McCain chooses a pro-choice candidate like Tom Ridge, I suspect chances are even higher that we'll be talking about President-Elect Obama after November 4th.

I think Biden is a curious pick at best and I hope to write on it soon. But Ridge? No. His pro-choice stances are a no-no, esp. given McCain's left leanings. Pair up the old man with a pro-choicer and a lot of conservatives stay home election day.

Is there any truth to the email that is going around that states that Obama, Biden, Dodd and Clinton all voted NOT to make Engish our official language? I gotten it several times and haven't taken the time to research it, but if it is true...
